How this merge works
Add two or more PDFs, drag them into the order you want, and press Merge. The pages are copied into a new document in that order and handed straight back to you as a download.
- Page size and orientation are preserved per page, so mixing A4 and Letter is fine.
- Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried over.
- The merged file has no watermark and no added page.
Getting the order right
Files are merged top to bottom in the list, not in the order you selected them in the file picker. Browsers hand over multiple files in an order that varies by operating system, so the list is the source of truth and you can rearrange it before merging.
Add every file first
You can add more at any point before merging.
Reorder with the arrows
Each row moves up or down one position. The number on the left is the position it will take in the merged file.
Check the page count
The total under the button is the number of pages you will get. If it looks wrong, a file is probably shorter or longer than you expected.

What happens to your files
Nothing leaves your device. There is no upload step, no request carrying your file, and nothing for us to store or delete. You can confirm this: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and merge — you will see no request carrying your document.
You can also disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the merge will still work.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge happens in your browser using your device’s own processor. The page makes no request containing your file, which you can verify in the Network tab of your browser’s developer tools.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
Twenty files, and roughly 100 MB in total. Both limits exist because everything is held in your browser tab rather than on a server.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first — in most PDF readers you can do this by opening the file with the password and saving a copy without one. No tool can read an encrypted PDF without its password.
Will the merged PDF keep my bookmarks and form fields?
No. Pages, text, images and page dimensions are carried over; bookmarks, form fields and attachments are not. If you need those preserved, a desktop PDF editor is the right tool.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, though a phone has less memory to work with, so a very large merge may fail where the same files would succeed on a laptop. If a merge fails, try it in two halves.
